About Walk, Bike and Roll to School Day

Strap on your helmet and lace up your shoes.

National Bike & Roll to School Day is October 4th, 2023,

Bike & Roll to School Day invites participants to celebrate the joy of active commuting while building a sense of community and school spirit. Whether addressing the need to make routes to school safer for active trips or encouraging children and teens to be more active, these events can be powerful tools to inspire lasting change. Of course, they are also fun!

While May 3 is this year’s official date, communities are welcome to celebrate any day in May that best fits their schedules. Register today to join the movement!

Walk from home. Park and walk. Meet up at any location:
1. Boston Municipal Lot #10: Corey St. & Railroad St. (this is a parking lot)
2. Wren St & White Oak Rd.
3. Dent St & Sherbrook St.
4. Corey St. & Vermont St.
5. In front of St. Theresa’s Church on Centre St.

 

Meet up Time: 8:45 a.m.
Children will walk with their parents.


Do your children take the bus?

Walk with them to the bus stop! When they arrive at school, they

will also walk a lap around the school.
