Lyndon's Annual Kids Fun Run

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 18th, 2023 9:00 AM

Races begin at 10 AM at the West Roxbury Education Complex Track

Please join us at our Annual Turkey Trot where over 500 Parkway youth, parents and community members come together to celebrate our community, enjoy the outdoors and get moving together in a day of family fun. This event raises money to support the Patrick Lyndon Pilot School PTA with important enrichment programs for music/art, Mass Audubon partnership, school library, field day, and much more!

Open to all Kids ages 3-14 - including Preschoolers! 

The adorable little ones start the races!

What to expect:

• Running!
• Dancing, DJ, Games, Snacks!
• Tons of Amazing Raffle Prizes
• $20/Child Registration Fee (financial assistance available) 

Please help us make this event a success!  Consider being a Family Sponsor!  Become a Family Sponsor when you register.  

• Register your students(s) or buy a Turkey Trot shirt if you can't go!
• Students ask family + friends to pledge their race
• Donate to the Lyndon Family Supporter Wall
• Add on a Runner (Could you pay for an additional Lyndon student to make this fun event accessible to everyone?)
• Recruit runners outside of Lyndon

Over 10 years ago, Lyndon school parents came together to organize the Lyndon Turkey Trot as a fun event for kids, and a fundraiser for our community.  Over the years, and with the help of so many dedicated Lyndon families and members of our local community, the event has grown to 400 runners from not only the Lyndon but children from across the area.  This event has always been a team effort.

Our mission at the Patrick Lyndon School PTA is to welcome, empower, and engage families to become a key partner with the school supporting the success and well-being of all students.  As a 501c(3) charitable organization we fund enrichment programs that are not funded by the existing Boston Public School budget.

Register In Person + Bib/Shirt Pick Up

Thursday 16th at FOTL Cornhole Event

Friday 17th  8:45-9:45 or 3:00-4:00 at Lyndon School 

Saturday 18th  9am- 9:45am At the event

What to Expect Saturday Morning

9 am pick up your shirts, bibs

10 am Group Warm up, ¼ mile run, ½ mile run

Post Race

Runners Receive Medals, Yard Games, DJ Music/Dancing, Trophy Presentations, Raffle Prizes

Food For Sale

All proceeds will benefit the Lyndon PTA, pay by cash or Venmo
