Welcome Picnic

An annual Lyndon tradition, bring a blanket and join us for our back-to-school pizza picnic! Reconnect with friends and meet new Lyndon Lions. We hope to see you there!
Lyndon Bike Bus
First Ride: Monday, September 8th
Mondays at 8:45 am
The Lyndon Bike Bus is an adult-led bike-to-school on Monday mornings. There are two routes taken by the Bike Bus- you are welcome to meet the group at a starting point at 8:45 am, or join the bus along the way! Each route takes about 15 minutes. Rides are held weekly until it is too cold to ride. Helmets are required! To learn more, click the flyer to join the Google Group.
Outdoor Classroom Eco-Friendly Fridays
Friday September 19th, October 3rd, & October 12th
The Lyndon is lucky to have an Outdoor Classroom, a space where students can enjoy lessons in nature, learn about the outdoor world, and take in the fresh air. Built in 2009 as part of Boston's Schoolyard Improvement Initiative, it has become a beloved part of the Lyndon Community. This space was brought to life and maintained by a group of motivated community volunteers.
On Fridays during the fall and spring, the Outdoor Classroom is the place to be for Eco-Friendly Fridays! Volunteers set-up a nature themed craft and families are invited to learn, create, and enjoy the outdoors! If you would like to volunteer for a 30 minute shift, click here to sign up!
PTA Mixer

West Roxbury Elks Club
Always a fun parents-night-out, the annual PTA mixer is a great way to celebrate the Lyndon community. Community members can visit information tables to learn more about the volunteer-led initiatives, enjoy small bites, and connect with other parents. The YMCA provides free childcare!
